Ella's Pink Scrapbook - Challenge 1

Our first challenge for Ella's Pink Scrapbook is to use your favorite technique! Well one of my favorite techniques is distressing & coredinations cardstock is a great paper to use for this. Under the pictures I have two strips of coredinations that I distressed the edges on, ran them through my crimper then sanded the paper.

Im finding the scrapbooking to be a little challenging. For some reason this layout took me hours and it didn't come out the way I pictured it. I couldn't think up a title. The pictures are from an auction I went to with my dad this last fall, he collects old gas pumps and gas station stuff.

TPE Challenge #60

This week's challenge at The Pink Elephant is a color challenge, just use pastels. Our sponsor this week is The Cutting Cafe and Regina has given us some fun things to use for our color challenge this week. I made this little Easter treat pail filled with malted milk Robin Eggs mmm.

Be sure to stop on by TPE to see what the rest of the design team came up with this week.

I have another bit of TPE news to share with you. We are starting up a weekly scrapping challenge that I am honored to be on the design team for. I started out this hobby scrapping and somehow got swallowed up into the card making so I am excited to get back to creating some layouts now (which I have found to be a challenge in itself) So be sure to stop on by my blog & TPE's blog this thursday to see our very first layout challenge! Also, if you love scrapping too we're doing a Design Team call for two more designers on the TPE team. You can check out the details for that HERE

The Pink Elephant Challenge #59

This week's challenge at TPE is a sketch challenge and here's the sketch we used

Here is my card for this week. I used some Sizzix flower dies, Home Accents (I think it was Accents) Cricut cartridge and the MS monarch butterfly punch for my card.
Be sure to head on over to The Pink Elephant to see what the rest of the team did with the sketch this week!

TPE Challenge #58

Our theme for this week is Spring, something we've been getting a little taste of the past week here in WI!

Our sponsor this week is All That Scraps. The team got to play with some of the new C.C. Design March stamps. Christine has really outdone herself with the March release, these stamps are cuter than ever and you can get all 9 of the Sugarplums Spring Kids set for only $47.60!

For my card I used the Easter Emma image, she is so adorable! I used my new Spellbinders Egg set to create my egg shaped card and created a little Easter egg hunt scene with her on the card.

And here's the inside of the card, kind of simple .

You'll want to be sure to head on over to The Pink Elephant to see what the rest of the Design Team made, they did a fab job this week! You'll also want to head over there to read about some new things coming up with Ella and her friends.

TPE Challenge #57

This week's challenge at The Pink Elephant is to make a party invite. I used a couple of my cuttlebug folders to create my invite, it was quick and simple. I haven't decided yet if Im going to have a little get together for my birthday this year but if I do, these will probably be my invites.
