Ah Spring

Spring is such a refreshing time of year, green grass, flowers coming up, trees budding, birds singing, SNOW FALLING! Yes that's right it is April 28th and we have accumulations on the ground, like 2-4 inches! My poor perenials.

Here's a couple pics at work from this morning, mind you there's more snow now. I sure hope it quits....SOON!

A Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for my nephew, he turned 6 on Tuesday. I used my cuttlebug again on this one and the monkey & leaves are a Hero Arts stamp.

Another card for Tamara's sketches

Tamara had another great sketch this week. Sometimes I find them a little challenging, this was one of them. I got the idea last night what to do with this sketch. Here's the sketch

I've got a few weddings this year so I thought I'd get a head start on my cards. I got to use my cuttlebug again on this card & used my favorite embossing template, swiss dots. I saw the bride and groom stamp on another site and just loved it so I had to check if my lss had it and they did some digging around and found one for me! The stamp is Happy Couple by Stampendous. I'm sure I'll get lots of use out of it. And you can't tell but the white & blue paper are both shimmery.

A Card for Tamara's Card Sketch

I just picked up this paper and stamp last week. I want to alter a lunch box with it eventually. The paper is by Heidi Grace. I also got to use my new cuttlebug with the swiss dot embossing template, which I just love btw, on this one.

An Acetate Tag Mini Album

I made this mini album for the weekly challenge over at the hero arts blog. The challenge was to make something with a clear element. I immediately thought of some of my garden pics from garden walks I've been on to use for a mini album and I just love mini albums so this one was a no brainer :)
